I’m a writer (short fiction), a blogger (on Tubular) and a public relations professional. Lately I’ve become a little bit obsessed with communication, how each of us does it and the infinite possibilities waiting on the other side of every new connection. The fact that I’ve connected with some of the coolest people I’ve ever met via Twitter has me convinced that the entire world is literally at my fingertips as I type this.
My beloved home is Houston. I am a lover of: live music (especially local), all things rockabilly, Americana kitsch, music on vinyl, Patsy Cline, Hank Sr., Larry McMurtry, small-town Texas, spontaneous road trips, animals (yes, all animals), baking and black-and-white TV.
Oh, and lest you think I’m stuck somewhere in the 1950s, let’s not forget technology and social media. Web 2.0 rocks my socks.
